Brooklyn Coachworks specializes in custom-built Land Rover Defenders, meticulously restored and tailored to meet everyday driving demands while staying true to the original design. With over 20 years of experience, they enhance these iconic vehicles with a blend of carefully selected modifications, ensuring optimal on-road and off-road performance. All builds use new, genuine parts and accessories.
Each Defender build features a galvanized chassis with e-coated black paint, Puma front and rear doors with upgraded seals, and four disc brakes with stainless steel brake lines. The interior is refined with an Alcantara headliner with soundproofing, a full carpet set with soundproofing, USB ports, and a 12-volt socket. A 10" Sony CarPlay stereo with backup camera and a genuine air conditioning unit provide modern convenience.
Available engine configurations include:
- Land Rover TD5: Rebuilt TD5 engine with 5-speed manual transmission.
- Land Rover V8: Rebuilt Rover V8 engine with 5-speed manual transmission.
- Ford 2.3 EcoBoost: New Ford 2.3l EcoBoost with 5-speed manual transmission.
- Cummins R2.8: New Cummins R2.8 turbo diesel with 5-speed transmission.
All builds include genuine progressive suspension system, steel wheels with 33” BFGoodrich KM3 tires, and galvanized, zinc-coated A4-80 hardware.
