The Lie-Nielsen Standard Workbench is a robust and functional addition to any workshop. Constructed from European Beech, this workbench offers a stable and heavy surface for a variety of woodworking tasks. Its design emphasizes simplicity and solid construction, ensuring longevity and reliability.

Key features of this workbench include:

  • Chain-drive twin-screw shoulder vise with 12" spacing, 8" of travel, and a 22-1/2" European Beech jaw
  • Rugged tail vise with 6-7" of travel and a "no L-block" jaw
  • 4-1/8" wide front stretcher flush to the legs and benchtop
  • 3" square trestle legs flush with the front of the bench
  • Bench dog holes along the front edge (1.150" x .950")
  • Holdfast holes (¾" diameter) along the front right leg and benchtop
  • Two wooden square bench dogs included

The workbench is designed without a skirt or tool tray to maximize clamping surface. The 4" thick solid top provides ample support for demanding projects. The tail vise and chain drive vise can be positioned for right- or left-handed users. Height is customizable between 32" and 38".
